We take the building down safely, sort salvageable material where applicable, load debris, haul it to licensed disposal facilities, and leave the site clean. For partial demolition or selective interior work, we remove only what needs to go while protecting the structure that remains.
Driveways, sidewalks, patios, slabs, foundations, parking lots, curbing, and retaining walls. We break up and remove concrete and asphalt surfaces, load the material for disposal or recycling, and grade the exposed subgrade for new construction or restoration. Driveway tear-outs and foundation removal are included in this scope.
Inground pools that are no longer wanted, no longer functional, or blocking new construction can be removed or filled in. We offer both partial removal (punch holes in the bottom, collapse walls, backfill with clean material) and full removal (excavate the entire shell, haul it off, backfill and compact). Pool removal is common before home sales, new construction, or property redevelopment.
Debris Haul-Off & Disposal
Demolition generates a significant volume of material: wood, concrete, metal, roofing, drywall, and soil. We load all debris on-site, transport it to licensed disposal or recycling facilities, and provide documentation when required. We sort materials where possible to reduce disposal costs and keep recyclable material out of the landfill.
Post-Demolition Site Clearing & Grading
After demolition and debris removal, the site still needs work. We backfill any excavated areas, compact the fill, grade the surface for proper drainage, and leave the lot ready for new construction, landscaping, or sale. A demolished site that is not properly graded becomes a drainage problem and a liability. We finish the job.

He has worked with the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, the U.S. Forest Service, the Air Force, and major environmental firms throughout his career.

Eric returned from the Army to work full-time in construction while staying in the Army Reserves. Joined the apprenticeship program to become a certified operating engineer during this project (completed 1997, a certification he still holds).

Our home base is Sauquoit, and our standard service radius is one to two hours from Utica. For the right project, we travel further.
Do I need a permit for demolition?
In most cases, yes. Oneida County municipalities typically require a demolition permit for any structure removal. Some projects also require utility disconnection permits and environmental clearances. We help identify what is needed and handle the permit coordination.
What about asbestos in older buildings?
New York State requires an asbestos survey for any building constructed before 1980 that is scheduled for demolition. If asbestos-containing materials are found, they must be professionally removed before demolition begins. We coordinate asbestos evaluations and abatement scheduling so your project stays on track and in compliance.
How long does demolition take?
A residential garage or shed demolition typically takes one day. A full house demolition with haul-off and site grading usually runs 3 to 5 days. Commercial projects vary based on structure size and complexity. We include a timeline estimate with every quote.
Do you handle debris removal, or do I need a separate hauler?
We handle all debris removal. Loading, hauling, and disposal are included in our scope of work. We transport material to licensed disposal facilities and provide documentation when required for permit closeout.
